There were three strong contenders for my personal P/O/Y. All shared one aspect: a move away from complexity.
One, the “Endless” computer, a round, white Linux device about the size of a grapefruit works with monitors and even old an old-fashioned RCA type “video in” port. [READ MORE]
Next was the Staresso hand-pump espresso maker. About the size of a small vacuum flask or bottle, it makes a really decent espresso without a huge machine or huge expense. [READ MORE]
And finally the Papershoot, a camera with almost no controls encased in a replaceable cardboard shell.
